1. Profession - Cost Accountant

2. Joined Reliance Industries Ltd. in 1984 handling Filament and Fibre

3. In 1990, took over business of Polyester Filament Yarn 

4. Took over charge as FID Sector Head handling the business of – PX, PTA, MEG, OX, Benzene, LAB, Ethylene Oxide 

5. In 2008, over all Polyester chain umbrella was created in Reliance Management System.   He took over charge as Sector Head – Polyester Chain, which includes three sectors – Aromatics / FID / Polyester. 

Was actively involved in acquisition of: 

Various Polyester Companies  - Domestic and International

6. Was also responsible for acquisition of Hualon assets in Malaysia now known as Recron Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

7. Was also responsible for acquisition of PTA assets in Kuatan, Malaysia from BP now known as RPCM Sdn. Bhd. 

8. Was responsible for end to end activities from due diligence à acquisition à streamlining process à management system  

9. During last 30 years, Reliance has expanded production of Polyester Chain from 10,000 tons per year (1984) to present 16 Mn tons per year.  

10. Continue to pursue growth of Indian textile Industry 

11. Also holding position of “President of Association of Synthetic Fibre Industry”

12. Reliance has been achieving awards conferred by SRTEPC every year for polyester products and overall exports in synthetic fibre and yarn category.
