The Index of Industrial Production (IIP) for the month of March 2023 for the textile Sector declined by 7.6% as compared to
march 2022.
There has been a cumulative fall of 8.7% in Textile Sector during April - March 2022-23 over the corresponding period of
2021- 2022.
The Index of Industrial Production for wearing apparel of March 2023 dropped by 33% and a fall of 7.4% during the periodd
April - March 2022 -2023 over the corresponding period of the previous year.
