To assist to promote accelerated and sustainable growth of the Indian Synthetic Filament Yarn / Man-Made Fibre ( MMF ) industry by continuously redesigning it’s role, structure and staffing requirements from time to time in line with industry’s requirements and to meet Viksit Bharat’s textile target to achieve USD 350 Bn ( Domestic- USD 250 Bn & Exports - 100 Bn ) by 2030 as the major growth would come from MMF, mainly Polyester and will ensure reinvestment economics as Cotton’s growth and yield diminishes gradually

ASFI plays major role to liaise with government/ various ministries ( MOT,DCPC, MOEF, MOC, MOF), BIS… to represent issues / submissions ( Budget, QCO, FTAs, GST.. ) of various sectors ( Polyester Filament Yarn / Polyester Staple Fibre ), Nylon Filament Yarn, Technical Textile (Polyester and Nylon Industrial Yarn , Belting Fabric, Tyre Cord Fabric ..) of the Association to get a favourable solutions. ASFI also circulates industry related data ( Capacity, Production, Import, Export, Price.. ) and publications to all its members. However, in the changing industrial and economic environment, the members would like the focus of activities of the Association to include taking a proactive intervention on several issues which would further interests of it’s members.
